HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT BECOMING A WINDOW TINTER?

If you are considering becoming a window tinter this website will help you understand what you are going to need to do to start making money in a very interesting career.

"I don’t feel people think about window-tinting as a good job. I found the commercial window tinting and securities film business to be one of the best opportunities I have seen yet. "

As challenging as finding a job is, window tinting sounds harder than you might think. Many people don’t really think of window tinting as a good job. The average salary for a window tinters is about $50,000 a year working hard about five months a year. Learning is not the easiest. However, there is good news! You have options for learning how. I will say it is very confusing to say the least, but with a little determination the benefits are very rewarding.

I set out to learn to tint windows about seven years ago for about a year. Why you might ask? Well this is a good question. This is a very good trade to learn because window tint shops are nothing without a window tinter (you). Also, you can open a great cash business in a very short time. The other reason is, I am kind-of an artist type and enjoy listening to my music while I work, and I have been drawn to tinting for some time. My journey was fun, but I found it confusing and very interesting in what I learned in the end.

1.) School options: There are many schools to learn from. One of the better schools is in Oregon its ran by a window tinter that has made a side business out of teaching people for money. A few of the film manufacture companies also offer schools and training. The inside word on the schools of this nature is you will be buying hands on experience. The teacher really makes or breaks it for you. Some people are never made to teach, there are some guys out there that can tint very well.

2.) You can also buy the DVD: Yea! That’s right buy the DVD. This is also a mixed bag; there is always something to learn in the beginning. Some Dvds are better than others, there are also a few good resources out there like YouTubeTint dude online window tinting forum very, very helpful.

3.) You can go it alone: This is the way I went! This is might be the best way to go. Here is the bottom line. If you want to learn! The best way to learn is to ask. Hang around become friends with window tinters. This is the cheapest way, in the long run this is the best way to learn. You can also go down and talk to the owner of your local tint shop. Ask to work there for free! This is hard for the owner of the tint shop to turn this down. Besides you most likely be tinting in less than 45 days.

Learning to tint is the easiest part, applying it to 1000s of autos of different makes, models and years is the hard part. Window tinting is the practices of applying film and few different techniques. You can get someone to teach you tinting techniques in a rather short time. But overall, mastering the techniques takes at least a course of 2 years of training and applying what you have learned to different cars everyday. The frustrating part is all cars are not created equal. The different styles of cars is the greatest challenge. Some have difficult ratings that give seasoned pros a headache. Once you put in your time, your free to go out and get a nice job! Window Tinters are always needed everywhere! If you don’t live in areas like Florida, Arizona, California, Texas and a few others, you will find yourself out of work from time to time in the winter months. Overall, the thing you are training for is the experience on the cars.
